A song about people, I used a lot of homophones and polysemes in this so the listener can fuck with interpretation.
lyrics
I Nearly Lost Myself
I'll write a phrase to paralyse
For I'm the king of illiteracy
A twisted line thrown out to see
How slow they crawl the nullified I held a light against
Transparency allows the dead to breathe
A means to justify I comprehend
I'll be the end of me
I nearly lost myself
I don't know myself
Back in black
I'm wearing thin I nearly lost myself
I don't know myself
Feel so haunted by your kin
I'll be your muse to analyse
I'll wear the blame upon my sleeve
A blinkered view with open eyes
Doth cast aspersions I am weak
I swallow down to numb the pain
No sense to feel, the dumb cant talk
Awake I lie, the truth will out
These blackened lungs to choked to talk

Wait! What? It hasn't been a year and already a new Miscellen? LOL. Always excited for new Miscellen and this doesn't disappoint. My only complaint is that it's over too quickly! Great stuff from an amazing band vikingfan01

Have only listened to the first three tracks so far. Somehow the indie/grunge/funereal/doom elements meld together well. Well worth a listen! 😁
Update - couldn't stop listening. No weak tracks. Music that won't stand still, but holds up well throughout. My favourite non-electronic release for some time. Thanks so much for the code! 😎 Rinchen Choesang
